Legal Services Management is Canada’s only online graduate diploma focusing on business skills for lawyers. You are now eligible to apply for individual courses from the GDLSM program before applying into the full Diploma program through our course based application.
Students can take up to three courses before choosing to apply to the Graduate Diploma in Legal Services Management to finish up the fourth course. You must obtain a minimum grade of B- in each course in order to be eligible for the Diploma.
To be considered for a GDLSM course, an applicant must:
- Hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university, or
- Be currently enrolled in a JD program (those without an undergraduate degree enrolled in a JD program will be considered for admission on a case by case basis), or
- Have graduated from a JD (or equivalent) program. Performance in a JD or equivalent will be considered in the admissions process.
All applicants for admission must have achieved a minimum standing consistent with Queen’s regulations for graduate admission, which in general is a B to B+ average. (https://www.queensu.ca/sgs/prospective-students/how-apply)
Copies of all post-secondary transcripts are required (unofficial are accepted) to confirm admission requirements (only for any non-Queen’s JD students).
